Why do I blog? Three reasons: First, I figure after all I have been through maybe someone could use my example and learn what not to do or what to do. Maybe my life can help someone else’s. Second, I need to get my name out there and get a good solid following. Third, with a good following maybe someone from a publishing house or someone who knows someone will like my stories so much that they will contact me and help me get published.
This blog is about my life, my family, my faith, and all I learned along the way. I pray that someone can pull from the stories and ramblings some hope and faith of their own.
I bet you are wondering who I am and what I do and where I live and why I have joined the blogging nation. Well, I am a teacher and a writer and a wife. I teach for a non profit company called Methodist Home for Children, in North Carolina, which has been an ever-changing , evolutionary institute for children since the early 1900’s. I work with the behaviorally challenged population of youth. I also write stories/ books, for children and teens. I have yet to be published which brings me the whole blogging thing.
I write, therefore I blog. I enjoy writing, reading, teaching, traveling, singing…. etc..
I have learned that I need to teach but I have also learned that my escape from reality is writing. I pray that someone will enjoy my writing, learn from my life’s lessons, or even want to be a part of my development as an author and guide me to where I need to be. Even if I never get published, I pray I have influenced people in one way shape or another. Please let me know if you have been affected by my writings and which ones.
Enjoy my writing! Hope to hear from you all soon!
